UChicago Financial Education Initiative Student Advisory Board

The UChicago Financial Education Initiative Student Advisory Board is a group of students from across the country who are passionate about shaping and advocating for the financial education of their peers. The Board seeks to improve access to high-quality financial education from elementary school through high school. The Board’s programming empowers students to advocate for financial education in their local schools, share their experiences with others, and network with students who share similar interests.

Mission

The UCFEI Student Advisory Board aims to leverage student voice and advocacy to ensure accessible, high-quality financial education for all K-12 students.

About

Students are encouraged to apply for a position on the board. Student members serve for 1-2 years and are expected to be advocates for financial education in their communities during their tenure. Student members will share and learn about different factors that impact accessibility to financial education, help develop materials for students to advocate for financial education, and have an impact on universal access to financial education. We are no longer accepting applications.
